Hopefully the SuperUser's Guide can help you avoid a few of the pit falls of customizing, and will save you a few headaches.  The SuperUser's Guide objectives are to be detailed, practice good habits, and to teach along the way.

The SuperUser's Guide was created by dakota0206 on 1/12/2012.  It started as a few detailed instructions in the Samsung Galaxy Nexus forums at xda-developers.com.

The techie in me likes to hang out there and I am always messing with my phones.  I started the guide because I always found myself and others answering the same questions over and over.  So I decided to help out and write some detailed intructions for the most commonly asked questions.  

The SuperUser's Guide started to get so big that it was out growing its space at xda-developers.com. As the guide grew it became hard to read due to the clutter.  As I added more and more info, it became clear that the SuperUser's Guide needed its own website.  

And that is where the Guide is today.  There are general instructions for most Android devices, and I have just recently added more detailed instructions for the HTC One X and the Samsung Galaxy S III.  

Please do not re-post any of the SuperUser's Guide material to any other site without permission!  There are hundreds of hours put into making this guide, and even more hours by the developers that make any of this possible.  The SuperUser's Guide has received permission from the developers to post the material found here.
